That’s where the three of us — Christina, Judi, and Colleen — first met, bonded over friendly matches, and built a friendship that has lasted for years. Beyond our local courts, we’ve shared countless laughs and memories on our annual trips to the Lafayette Crawfish Tennis Tournament.

 

Over time, our love for racquet sports grew and evolved. Judi and Colleen still enjoy both tennis and pickleball, while Christina, after retiring from tennis, dove headfirst into the fast-growing world of pickleball. It didn’t take long before all of us were hooked.

The spark for this facility came during a stretch of bad weather, when outdoor play simply wasn’t an option. We started exploring the idea of renting a small space — just enough for one indoor court, jokingly called the “One Court Wonder.” But as the idea took shape, we realized the potential was much bigger. Together, we decided to dream beyond a single court and create a place where more players could enjoy the game year-round.

Today, that dream has become reality with our indoor pickleball facility featuring three courts — built by players, for players. It’s more than a place to play; it’s a community built around friendship, fun, and a shared passion for the sport we love.
